Women, Food And God by Geneen Roth [ep-99]

Hey mama,

Today on the show I share a beautiful piece from a book called Women, Food and God by Geneen Roth.

You’ll hear me read a story from one of her retreats and how women heal their life long battles with food, body image problems, insecurities, overeating, undereating, binging, using food as comfort, and other self-destructive patterns we all do.

What God has got to do with it? In short, everything. It will make more sense after you listen.

The road to healing is messy, however embracing the messiness in what you have to be willing to go through in order to get to where you want to go.

This work is hard and it requires time, but it is so worth it. This is your life’s work!

There is no benefit to you or to your family in dwelling on or commiserating how bad your life is and how hard it is for you to step out and do something about it.

As far as I know, all that matters is your will. Everything else will unfold for you. Just trust the process.

I want to hear from you!

Do you resonate with Geneen’s message? Find me over at IG and share your thoughts with me @healthbeginswithmom (if you’re not on IG, you’re welcome to email me dorit@healtbbeginswithmom.com)

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Sending you much love & healing 😉

XOXO,

Dorit
